A British company developing a way to spot mutations in the HIV virus has formed a partnership with Case Western Reserve University. The university will help Population Genetics Technologies develop tests designed to determine whether a person with the HIV virus is becoming resistant to drugs used to treat it. The Cambridge-based company will work with Miguel Quiñones-Mateu, Ph.D., a researcher with a long history in the field of HIV diagnostic technology.
